Ageia Offers A Mobile Version Of It Physics Proccessing Unit
Ageia has announced the release of the mobile PhysX M100, a dedicated physics processing unit for laptops. It has the same processing power as its desktop counterpart, the M100. You could be forgiven for wondering what you would want a physics processing unit for, the answer is it takes the physics workload of the CPU in supporting titles, leaving that CPU time for faster gameplay.
I’m not really aware of any games that support it yet though, are you?
